Talk about luck of the draw. I thought I'd quickly knock off a second single so the page wouldn't be too empty; I come up with one that's longer than Revolver. At least it proves they're random!
I don't think I've listened all the way through more than a couple of times before. These non-chart EPs always look like such good value at the time (especially if, as in this case, you only pay 99p) but some are better than others.
No complaints about the A-side. It is of course the opening track from the album Surrender complete with samples from Make It Hot by Missy Elliot protegée Nicole Ray. I certainly liked it more than the album's big hit, Hey Boy, Hey Girl! though I know I'm in a minority there. It's not the radio edit, mind you.
Freak of the Week is quite a hefty drum machine workout.
Enjoyed is more or less an instrumental version of their previous hit, Out of Control. I never made up my mind about the vocal version and I'm no more certain about this one, although the lack of words makes it a little harder to get into. Then there are two lengthy remixes.
The spiritual home of this sort of music is in some club in South London, not through headphones on a sofa on a Sunday evening. That's probably why I never bought any other Chemical Brothers records, even though I liked some of them.

ONLINE

The official site is flashy but informative.
There's more discographical info at this unofficial site.
There's also a Russian fan site out there.
Amazon still claim to have the Japanese release for sale, but I don't vouch for it.
